Yoga is more than just movement. Yoga is a group of mental, physical, and spiritual practices intended to reverse the ordinary flow of energy and consciousness so that the mind and body become balanced.

Each yoga practice will emphasize connection to each breath in and each breath out. We will dig deeper into fully understanding why the way we breath is so important and why it is truly the foundation to every yoga practice.  

Connecting movement with breath to balance mind, body, and soul, our yoga classes will take your practice to an entirely different level, and if this is your first time practicing on your mat we assure you, you will never look back. Yoga is magical and through each practice, by shedding layers of stress and tension and learning to trust, we begin to see ourselves differently as we slowly free ourselves from the dependent fallible senses that want to consume us.

Meditation is the practice of resting the mind while attaining a state of consciousness. Meditation is the process of giving your full undivided attention to whatever you desire. Your hopes. Your dreams. Your needs.

By bringing the body into a state of complete relaxation we begin understanding what is taking place in this moment and we attend to it. Our normal reaction is to respond to every thought that floods our mind, with meditation we slow down and observe each thought without reacting.

There is no right or wrong way to practice meditation, but we will show you some simple techniques throughout the retreat to help guide you towards the ability and desire to begin practicing comfortably at home.

Through the practice of mindfulness , we slowly begin to wake up to what life really is; a profound texture that extends far pass the naked eye and is only visible once we are truly awake.
