Summer with Intention

A Minnesota summer typically rushes in fast and furious. We’ve waited endless months for the open lakes, return of loons, campfires with starry backdrops, and seemingly endless supply of vitamin d.

I love to start this season off intentionally and slowly. Appreciate it, acknowledge it, and let myself savor this long-awaited season of light and warmth.

If you, too, are craving a self-care summer weekend, join us May 28–31, 2026 at Kona Kona Resort on Kabekona Lake in Laporte, MN for our Startlement Retreat.

Startlement is synonymous with astonishment, or awe. Allow yourself a moment to appreciate the subtle changes of the season. Be in total awe of the beauty in this world.

Startlement is a three-night, four-day retreat with a slightly deeper rhythm. The days are woven with yoga, meditation, specialty workshops, excellent catered meals, lakeside sauna time, campfires, and appreciation of nature.

We love to provide choices! You’ll have the option to enjoy yoga sessions with Stacy, Bryana, and Candace. To add a massage with Candace, cold-pressed fresh juice and/or mocktail bar with Jami, paddle on crystal clear Kabekona Lake with Bryana/Stacy, and even a hike to the Headwaters of the Mississippi with Bryana.

A little like summer camp, but elevated.
